Maintenance Technician

Auto Bolt is an independently owned and operated manufacturer of cold-headed fasteners. Auto Bolt provides fasteners for many industrial consumer applications, including automotive, truck and trailer, farming equipment, material handling equipment, recreational vehicles, and sports equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, install and service equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems with plant machinery/equipment.
• Assist maintenance team with welding and electrical repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain functionality of machines.
• Fabricate, weld or machine parts as required.
• Maintain material and supply inventory.

Requirements & Ideal Traits:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years minimum in manufacturing machine maintenance
• Mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work on assigned projects with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
