Senior Quality Control Technician

Auto Bolt is an independently owned and operated manufacturer of cold-headed fasteners. Auto Bolt provides fasteners for many industrial consumer applications, including automotive, truck and trailer, farming equipment, material handling equipment, recreational vehicles, and sports equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and present ISIR and PPAP requirements to customers
  • Maintain Lab Organization
  • Interact with customers and suppliers as needed while maintaining supplier certifications
  • Maintain data in ERP system in real time
  • 1st piece inspection, testing and receiving inspection
  • Assemble and distribute customer C of C certifications
  • Assist in reduction of production errors
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Ideal Traits:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous related QC experience, bolt manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to use various types of inspection and test equipment
  • ISIR & PPAP knowledge and understanding
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/2015a plus
  • Team player with effective communication skills
  • Willingness to obtain further education/knowledge of new quality and lean manufacturing methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
